Teams are working from home now more than ever and are having to find substitutes for work tools that they would normally be used in an in-person meeting or work environment. Teams need a centralized place to share user research, create personas, and perform design sprints all while working remotely and maintaining current standard workflows. New teams exist as well and need an educational approach that will walk them through their first design sprint.

USER DATA AND FRUSTRATIONS
I made a list of the necessary tools/ materials needed throughout the sprint for documenting and creating personas, mapping etc… and then attached deliverables from these tools to create something similar that would produce the same results while allowing all users to have the same input they would if they were all in the same room together.
Timer (keep track of timed activities and breaks): small timer in the bottom of the screen always present on every page. Has reset, start/stop button.
Two white-boards: Two blank areas everyone can draw on similar to Microsoft paint simplified
Sticky Notes: Drag and Drop react page that will allow users to create sticky notes and arrange by column and row as if they were placed on a wall.
Sketch Paper/Pads:
Small and Large Dot Stickers: Sticky notes or cards will have drop-down or option to press and simply add it to the card.
Bonus: Snacks - Link to a site that sells snack packages/ care packages.

“ Do you experience issues with consistency and contribution to brainstorming sessions?”
“How do you solve the issue of those embarrassed to share their ideas?”

Thursday
“What does a prototype look like to your team once it’s complete and how is it used for validating your assumptions?”
“What is your team’s main priority when creating a prototype?”
Friday
“How do you observe test users of your prototype?”
“How and where do you organize the data you obtained from prototype testing?”
“How many prototypes do you normally test and why?”
FRUSTRATIONS

“How can I make sure the personas I create align with my teams?”
“What if I am new to creating personas and I am not sure why to include?”
Tuesday
“How will I visually share my ideas without a whiteboard?”
“How can I replicate the feeling of brainstorming and idea flow when we are working remotely?”
Wednesday
“How will we as a team be able to keep track of whose design is favored?”
Thursday
“I have never made a prototype before, how do I know what it’s supposed to look like?”
“How can we all work on the prototype at once if we all aren’t in the room together?”
Friday
“Will it be hard to manage any external tools that will need to be such as video conferencing and chat rooms?”
Showcase Features/Ideas
A Goal and Problem Statement board will be kept very visual at all times to help remind the team of what they are reaching to accomplish.
Digital whiteboards and drag and drop-down columns that allow simultaneous interaction will keep all team members involved and their voices heard.
